Current Menu
Farmshop
In April 2019 we opened our small on-site farmshop which enables you to purchase frozen food items, vegetables from our allotment, local produce, our home made East Trayne apple juice, essential items for your stay and our home reared lamb.
We are here to take the stress out of catering for your holiday to make it as relaxing a time as possible for you. We have a pricelist inside the farm shop and operate on an honesty box system - you can pay by cash by leaving monies in the honesty box within the farmshop or we can take card payments in the main house.
Nature Workshops
Since April 2019 our landsman Robin has be running Nature Workshops on a Friday and occasional Thursdays and Saturdays. We have lots of wildlife to learn about on the farm and although the workshops are aimed at children they’re also lots of fun for adults too. He covers lots of different aspects of the countryside including tree and flower identification, the lifecycle of chickens watching them develop in an egg brooder, care of sheep and lambing plus the opportunity to make their own nesting box to take home for the garden.
Booking is essential for this so please email poolea@live.co.uk if this is something you wanted to book in for your stay.
Events
We are always happy to cater for celebrations and events at East Trayne so if you’re wanting something out of the box then email us to discuss logistics and prices for your event!
